Best Time to Visit:

The Serengeti is a year-round destination, but the Great Migration is typically best viewed between June and October (river crossings) and December to March (calving season in the southern plains). The dry season also offers the best game viewing as animals gather around water sources.

Why Visit this Park?

Serengeti is the epitome of the African safari dream. It offers unmatched game viewing, including the legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, and over 500 bird species. The vast, open plains allow for incredible wildlife visibility, particularly during the dry season and the annual migration. Whether you witness a lion hunt at dawn or a river crossing during the migration, every moment in Serengeti feels raw, real, and unforgettable.

The park also boasts a wide range of accommodation—from budget camps to high-end lodges—making it suitable for every type of traveler. Its stunning sunrises and sunsets across the horizon complete the magic, making Serengeti not just a destination, but an experience.
