on payments, cancellations, and your responsibilities while travelling.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking a safari with Savara Safaris. By confirming your trip with us, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

Booking & Payment
  • A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the tour start date.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or mobile money (conditions apply).

Cancellation Policy
  • More than 60 days prior: 90% refund of the deposit

  • 30–59 days prior: 50% refund of the deposit

  • Less than 30 days prior: No refund of the deposit

  • No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.

Amendments

Changes to itineraries are allowed but subject to availability and additional costs. Any changes must be requested in writing and confirmed by Savara Safaris.

Responsibilities of the Traveller
  • Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond travel dates.

  • Secure appropriate visas and vaccinations prior to travel.

  • Maintain appropriate personal travel insurance.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, personal liability, and lost luggage.

Safari Conditions
  • Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.

  • Road and weather conditions may alter the itinerary.

  • Savara Safaris reserves the right to substitute accommodations or routes based on availability or safety.

Liability Disclaimer

Savara Safaris is not liable for loss, injury, delay, or damage to person or property due to force majeure, natural disasters, acts of governments, or third-party services.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Disputes shall be resolved under Tanzanian legal jurisdiction.
